Fire Safety Plans

A good drawing replaces a long explanation. Fire safety plans are how a project's strategy is read: where the exits are, how people leave, where the protection sits, and what separates a fire from the rest of the building. They are also what the authority reviews and what the operations team relies on after handover.

What the service covers:

  • Escape route drawings: exits, directions of travel, travel distances, stairs and assembly points.
  • System layouts: detectors and notification appliances, sprinklers, hose reels and cabinets, extinguishers and control panels.
  • Compartment boundaries and the fire resistance ratings of walls, doors and penetrations.
  • Evacuation floor plans for occupants: simplified and oriented, showing "you are here" and the nearest route out.
  • Coordination with architecture, mechanical and electrical, issued in formats suited to both approval and operations.

When you need them: at submission for approval, at handover and operation, when internal layouts change or part of the building changes use, and when preparing emergency plans and training.

These drawings are built on the fire and life safety strategy, and their evacuation assumptions can be supported by egress modeling results.
